Welcome to Siam Park – the best themed water park in Europe from 2014 to 2017, according to TripAdvisor. It is located on Tenerife and covers an area of 18.5 hectares. Siam Water Park is another project of the Kiessling family. They also own Loro Parque on the island. Siam Park was opened to the public in 2008. It combines modern thrilling rides with a tropical atmosphere of relaxation and bliss. The design is in Siamese style, but the buildings are not exact copies of houses and statues found in Thailand.

Set aside one day of your vacation to visit Siam Park. Here, you’ll get an adrenaline rush that will last for a long time. And don’t be intimidated by the presence of “insane” slides – there are also attractions for children.

Interestingly, up to 700 m2 of seawater is desalinated daily for the park’s needs. The water, after being used on water rides, is used for plant irrigation.

Water Park

Listing and describing the water slides of Tenerife’s best park is a thankless task. Because it’s impossible to convey in words all the emotions and impressions experienced in reality. The water park has more than 20 attractions – from extreme and mind-blowing to calm and relaxing.

Everything is done on a grand scale: magnificent palaces, a massive head of a Thai deity, giant dragons, and funnels. For little ones, there’s “The Lost City” with water slides, suspended bridges, and rope ladders. For families and groups, there are private bungalows and cottages. Five Thai and local cuisine restaurants will satisfy the hungry. At the entrance, you’ll be greeted by sea lions, the park’s symbols, residing in their own pool.

Best Attractions at Siam Park

The signature attraction of Siam Park is the “adrenaline” slide Tower of Power. It’s 28 meters high, and the open section is almost vertical. At a speed of around 80 km/h, you’ll fly into a glass tube with sharks and rays swimming around it. But you won’t be able to see them clearly. So when you land, walk around the slide and calmly observe the fish.

The park’s pride is “The Wave Palace” – a large pool with a capacity of up to 1,200 people and an artificial beach. But the white sand, blue water, and tropical vegetation are not the main attraction. The main attraction is the artificial wave reaching 3 meters. Many people swim near the wave’s starting point, waiting for the thrill. The water temperature is 24°C all year round. You can surf in the pool, but only after the park closes and by prior arrangement.

The “Dragon” attraction will unleash a storm of emotions. A raft carrying 4 people slides at high speed down a 10-meter vertical wall and into a funnel. Their movement is watched over by a massive and terrifying dragon.

If you’re tired of the adrenaline rush, trust the flow of the “Lazy River” (Mai Thai River). Floating on a yellow tube, you’ll see all the park’s attractions.

“The Giant” is a massive tower in the shape of a Thai deity’s head, with two tubes leading to large funnels. On this water slide, you can reach quite high speeds.

On the “Volcano” attraction, you’ll feel like you’re inside an awakening volcano. The raft slides at high speed through an enclosed tube with a laser projection of a volcanic eruption on the walls.

Singha is a 240-meter winding track with 6 funnels, reaching speeds up to 65 km/h.

Kinnaree is a 213-meter high-speed track with wave-like branches. Inflatable rafts can accommodate up to four people.

Naga Racer is a six-lane descent with cascades. You can arrange team competitions.

If you’re visiting Siam Park with a child, remember that not all attractions are suitable for young kids. The minimum height requirement for rides ranges from 110 to 130 cm. If a child is under 110 cm, you can enjoy the Lazy River (a life jacket is provided for the child), the Lost City, and Sawasdee.
