We were sitting and thinking about which route to take through Anaga Park this time. There are dozens of them there. We decided to drive to the most romantic Benijo beach and walk along 2 routes and also explore some unofficial trails.
A hike through the atypical and less crowded part of Anaga Park in the north of Tenerife. In the middle of the hike, we'll take a dip at a secluded beach. In the mountains, we'll spot some goats and walk among the clouds.
Starting from November 2024, there are 8 routes on Tenerife that require you to obtain prior permission. In this article, I will explain how to do this and whether it's worth it.

I'm sharing my favorite all-day volcano trail. The track goes through the Chinyero crater, then across a lava river, we climb up Montaña Negra, and reach the picnic area. On the way back, we had an unpleasant adventure, but I'll tell you all about it in order.
We did it on the 4th attempt! We, like the ultimate failures, tried for 4 years to climb up to the Teide crater, but we couldn't make it. And finally, it happened! You have 2 options – climb on foot or take the cable car. We chose the second, lazy option.
