How we learn Spanish

I'll tell you how I learn Spanish. I study very lazily, and it's clearly not enough. But mainly I use Duolingo and Busuu apps. With these apps, you won't learn Spanish completely, but you will significantly expand your vocabulary and improve your learning discipline.

I also often ask Perplexity or ChatGPT about the meaning of certain phrases and how Spaniards generally speak. Neural networks are also a great help in language learning. My current level is around A1.

Lena studies more thoroughly. She attends a state language school twice a week, and her progress is much better. In general, I believe that if I were moving to Spain now, I would first of all start learning Spanish. It will greatly help you adapt faster in the new country and you’ll solve all your problems more quickly.

How I would advise introverts to learn Spanish. Additionally, I would book private lessons, as I’m currently doing with English. There are many online services where you can find a teacher based on skills and budget. We used iTalki a lot. By the way, there are very affordable tutors from Latin American countries, for example, from Colombia, Venezuela. Their Spanish is very similar to the Spanish used in the Canary Islands. The price for a lesson starts at around 5-8 dollars.

The most effective way of learning Spanish, which my acquaintances use, and I really see that there are results, is intensive courses. Along with this, you can get a student visa for a year and learn Spanish, but here you need to completely give up work and dedicate yourself to learning Spanish.

Such courses usually take place 5 times a week, for at least 4 hours a day. Plus, you can take additional private lessons, and you’ll also be given homework and have various activities in the evenings. So it’s a full-time job of learning Spanish.

Lena arranged several such months of language study for herself, and the progress was simply incredible. Here I talked about how Lena took intensive courses in Madrid. I can’t afford that for myself. Unfortunately, I don’t have that much time. Write how you study languages, and which methods are most effective.
