I want to share my experience of renting accommodations in Valencia. I’ll talk about some nuances and subtleties that may not be obvious at first glance, and describe the districts. This will give you an understanding of where to stay in Valencia.
Ciutat Vella District
It is more convenient and better to settle in the Historic part of the city. Ciutat Vella (Old City) is a popular district among tourists. It consists of six neighborhoods: La Seu, La Xerea, El Carmen, El Pilar, El Mercat, and Sant Francesc. Most of the hotels are located here. Accommodation prices are the highest. Most of the sights are within walking distance, and there are many bars, restaurants, and clubs.
The Carmen District combines sightseeing, active, and bohemian recreation, which is why it is particularly popular and loved. Carmen is considered the most party-centric district in Valencia.
Caro Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Caro Hotel is located in a 19th-century palace 200 meters from the Valencia Cathedral. It combines historical features with modern design and has an outdoor pool.
Vincci Palace Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Vincci Palace Hotel is located 5 minutes from the Cathedral. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet prepared with gluten-free products. There are 2 bus stops near the hotel. From the Colón metro station, a 5-minute walk away, you can reach the airport without transfers.
Blanq Carmen Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Blanq Carmen Hotel is located in an old building with an original facade, 25 meters from the Serranos Towers. It has a terrace with a pool. In the mornings, a good buffet breakfast is served.
Eixample District
Eixample is a prestigious and elite district. It consists of three neighborhoods: Ruzafa, El Pla del Remei, and Gran Vía. Wealthy Spaniards live in Eixample. The district is maximally adapted for living: many shops and cafes are open, there are fitness centers, entertainment complexes, playgrounds, parking lots, and excellent transport connections. Most of the hotels are of fashionable brands, but there are also affordable accommodations.

The Soho Boutique Turia is located 500 meters from the Turia Gardens and within walking distance of the main attractions. There are many restaurants and bars nearby.
One Shot Colón 46 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
One Shot Colón 46 is located a 10-minute walk from the Valencia Cathedral, 900 meters from the Central Market, and a 15-minute drive from Valencia Airport. There are many shops and cafes around.
Area near the City of Arts and Sciences
The Barrio Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias district is located near the City of Arts and Sciences. It is an optimal and affordable option for accommodation. The tourist complex is a landmark that gave the area its name.
NH Valencia Las Artes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
NH Valencia Las Artes is a design hotel with a gym, sauna, indoor pool, and terrace. A children’s room and special menu are available for kids. Across the street is the El Saler shopping center. The Malvarrosa Beach is 5 km away.

Valenciaflats Ciudad de las Ciencias is located 100 meters from the City of Arts and Sciences. There are shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and beautiful courtyards nearby. The nearest beach can be reached in 10 minutes by bus. The apartments are spacious, modern, and fully equipped. Guests are offered a continental breakfast.

El Cabanyal-El Canyamelar District
El Cabanyal-El Canyamelar is an old seaside district. The city’s central Las Arenas Beach is located here. The district is suitable for those planning both beach and sightseeing vacations. It’s very convenient to get to the center by metro in just 30 minutes.

Las Arenas Balneario Resort is a beachfront hotel. It features a well-maintained area with beautiful landscaped gardens and fountains. The rooms are done in light tones without much luxury, slightly worn. Balconies offer a beautiful view of the harbor. There is a spa, gym, large and children’s pool. Hotel El Globo is a suitable option for a budget stay. The rooms are small but cozy with large windows and views of the sea and palm trees. It’s suitable for travelers with a car, as there are many free parking spaces around.
