The Estación de Aeropuerto station sits on the lower level of the terminal building. From January 2026, a direct underground extension links Terminals 1 and 2 straight to the platforms, so you no longer need to walk across the access road. Two lines serve the route from Valencia Airport to city centre: red Line 3 (Aeroport–Rafelbunyol) and green Line 5 (Aeroport–Marítim Serrería).

A single ticket for fare zone AB+ costs €4.80 in 2026, plus a one-off €1.10 for the cardboard SUMA card. Skip the queue at the machines and tap a contactless card or phone directly on the gates — every Metrovalencia barrier now accepts it.

Line 3 reaches Xàtiva in 21 minutes; Line 5 takes 23 minutes to Colón. Trains run roughly from 5:27 to 22:30, extended to 23:30 on Fridays. For aeroporto Valencia metro travel, buy your ticket before boarding to avoid fines.

By bus

The yellow bus No. 150 (MetroBus) links Manises Airport with the city, stopping at the T1 departure area. Buses depart every 20-26 minutes, and travel time runs 25-35 minutes depending on traffic. A one-way ticket costs €2.80 and can be bought from the driver. The airport bus in Valencia has dedicated space for suitcases and free WiFi onboard. In 2026 there is still no service on Sundays or public holidays — on those days, take Metro Line 3 or 5 from the airport station instead.

By taxi or ride-hailing app

Standard white taxis at Valencia Airport charge a fixed rate of €20-€25 to the city centre, with the ride taking 20-30 minutes. On Friday and Saturday evenings the queue at the rank can stretch to 20 minutes, so factor that in.

Uber does not operate here. The working alternatives for an airport transfer to Valencia city centre are Cabify (minimum airport fare €12) and Bolt, both with dynamic pricing of roughly €12-€20 depending on demand. Check the app before you land for a real-time estimate and any notice of taxi strikes, which occasionally disrupt pickups at Terminal arrivals.
