This is not our first time visiting the island, so I will share some less touristy spots. For example, a wild beach, a short trek, and I'll tell you about a good hotel with a beach. Plan to spend 3-5 days on the island.
The only airport in Fuerteventura is located in the eastern part of the island, between the Castillo Caleta de Fuste resort (7 km) and the capital city of Puerto del Rosario (5 km). Fuerteventura Airport is an international airport. Most international flights from the airport are to countries in the European Union. Domestic flights are predominantly to Madrid and the neighboring islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
